All members of SCVSF, including the Executive Board, are volunteers who receive no compensation for their work with the Foundation.

The Santa Clarita Valley Scholarship Foundation offers scholarship grants funded by local individuals, businesses, foundations, and civic organizations.  Only graduating seniors attending one of the William S. Hart Union High School District’s public high schools are eligible:
